What is The Directors’ Guild?

Directors’ Guild is a mastermind group of Austin SMPS members who have at least 10 years of industry experience.  The goal of the group is to discuss relevant business topics, share best practices and ask for advice.  The group doesn’t share leads or contacts, but instead is a space where senior leaders can connect and grow from their peers.  We ask that members commit to attend 75% of events and that all sensitive topics are kept confidential.  We know life happens, but the group dynamics work best when members commit to attending.  We piloted this program last year and received great feedback from participants.   A small fee is asked for administrative purposes.  If assistance is needed, please contact the chapter. 

We will meet every other month, virtually on the first Thursday of the month from 10-11am via Zoom.  Should restrictions lift, we will reconsider meeting in person.  At the end of each session we will ask for volunteers for next session’s topic selection and facilitation. 

Session dates will be: Oct. 1, Dec. 3, Feb 4, April 1 (no joke), June 3, Aug. 5^th.
