The Director’s Guild is a forum for SMPS members who have a minimum of 8 years of AEC business experience. If you have not attended a Director's Guild, we highly encourage you to check it out. Participants leave feeling connected to their peers and energized to address their goals for the upcoming year.

The heart of SMPS has always been to connect marketing/business development professionals together—leveraging our collective knowledge to offer support and solve business challenges. As our members start to rise to senior leadership positions, our challenges grow, but the need for support remains. The intent of this group is to create a peer support forum of SMPS members who may be facing similar business challenges. The discussion follows the format of a “Lean Coffee,” where members suggest topics at the meeting and the group votes.  A facilitator helps gather ideas, keep everyone on topic, and manage the time. The benefit of the group is found in the synergy created by leaders sharing and identifying creative real-time solutions.
