The biggest obstacle to successful video marketing is not budget, time, or distribution strategy; it's boredom. Your audience scrolls to something else, closes the browser window, or remains unmotivated to connect with your video because they are bored. Why?
In our happy hour Part I session on October 5th, we answered the question and provide solutions. It is about creating video marketing content that lives by one almighty rule: Never be boring. Our audience delved into the nitty gritty of shooting content - tips, tools, and settings for smartphone shooting through a hands-on, guided exercise.
In Part II, our audience will dive into the edit. Shooting just increases the pieces, but editing puts the puzzle together. This session will build on part one by applying the rules to the editing process and dive into the hard skill of video editing.
Since this is a hands-on session, please come prepared with:
- A computer or iPhone - For notes and editing
- Video content - Unedited footage to use
BONUS! MR Productions will giveaway one free video to an attendee. Don't miss this unique event to learn a valuable skill to enhance your marketing efforts and for your chance to win!

SPEAKER

Caleb McKnight is a Writer/Director with MR. PRODUCTIONS in Austin, Texas. He started in professional video production in 2016 as a freelancer, and in 2020 started MR. PRODUCTIONS with his friend and business partner, Sawyer Richburg. In 2021, MR. stepped into the A/E/C industry with a splash, producing a documentary brand story for White Construction, celebrating their 50th anniversary. It went on to win the SMPS Austin Award for Best Video.
He did not go to film school. In fact, he never handled a real video camera until he purchased his first one off Craigslist in 2016. He knows what it is to be without a clue when it comes to video marketing. He's learning every day, but he's accumulated a few tricks along the way.
